FERRARI MODULO photograph

Built on a Ferrari 512 chassis by Pininfarina's Paolo Martin, the Modulo ticks all the right concept car boxes - low lines, covered wheels, superb colour scheme, dangerously small headlights... What a beauty, like something out of a half-forgotten eighties anime.

1982 Tour de France Automobile advert

The four-wheel version of the Tour never quite reached the same level of fame as the cycling event. It was revived in 1981 as a rally event, and in 1982 Jean-Claude Andruet took victory with a beautifully patriotic coat of paint on his decidedly unpatriotic Ferrari 308 GTB.
